Mita is a CORU-registered Physiotherapist with over five years of comprehensive experience in musculoskeletal, sports, and neurological physiotherapy.
She graduated from MAEER’s Physiotherapy College in 2020 and completed a six-month rotating internship at a 720-bed hospital. During this time, she gained extensive clinical exposure across a wide range of specialities, including musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiorespiratory, intensive care, paediatrics, women’s health, and geriatric physiotherapy.
Following her internship, Mita spent three years specialising in spinal rehabilitation at QI Spine, a leading spine specialist clinic in India. During this period, she trained in the McKenzie Method—an internationally recognised assessment and treatment approach for acute and chronic neck and back pain. In addition to her clinical role, Mita was actively involved in teaching, training, and mentoring junior physiotherapists in spinal assessment and diagnosis. Throughout her specialist training, she successfully treated over 1,080 patients with back pain.
Mita subsequently worked in a busy private musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy clinic, where she further developed her expertise in sports injury management.
She has continued to advance her professional development through postgraduate training in McKenzie Modules for shoulder and knee pain, dry needling, myofascial pain and dysfunction, INDIBA® radiofrequency therapy, kinetic control, neurodynamic solutions, and evidence-based therapeutic exercise.
Mita’s clinical interests include spinal conditions, headaches and migraines, postural dysfunctions, sports injuries, joint and muscle pain, arthritis, ergonomics, and women’s health.
