For GP Practices
Locum Doctor Services.
Spectrum Health has been providing practices with our locum doctor services for over 15 years.
Whether your Locum needs are short term or long term, our Doctors can provide seamless, reliable services to ensure uninterrupted care at competitive rates.
This service is ideal in periods of increased demand and during staff shortages due to holidays, sick leave, or unexpected absences.
Our team of Locum Doctors, headed up and governed by our Medical Director, are all:
- Fully qualified and Garda vetted
- IMC registered
- Fully insured
- Fully Trained on all software.

Our locum doctors can provide support services in your practice or in a residential care setting if required.
For GP Practices
Allied Health Locum Service.
Spectrum Health can also provide you with access to our team of dieticians, podiatrists and physiotherapists on a locum basis. These locum services are available on a day rate basis and can be provided on site or via video consultations.
Our team of Locum Allied Health Practitioners, headed up and governed by our Clinical Director, are all:
- Fully qualified and Garda vetted
- CORU registered
- Fully insured
- Fully Trained on all software.

For GP Practices
Out Of Hours Doctor Service.
One of our core services is providing GP Practices with Out of Hours support, during evenings, weekends, and holidays – attending to their patients on their behalf outside of normal surgery hours.
These services provide:​
- In-person consultations for patients requiring direct examination and treatment via our house call services
- Remote services via phone or video call for convenient and immediate support.
- Care for both public and private patients
To ensure continuity of care, a medical record will be securely sent to the patient’s GP via healthmail after every consultation with their patients
Our Out Of Hours doctors can also assist GP’s in meeting their Co-op obligations.
