Matt is a fully qualified Podiatrist from the National University of Ireland, Galway School of Podiatric Medicine. He is a current member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists of Ireland and is certified in Lower Limb Acupuncture. He is a strong advocate for continuous professional development, regularly attending medical conferences, training courses and keeping up to date with the latest research to provide the best patient outcomes in all areas of Podiatric care.
Matt has gained postgraduate experience working within HSE and private health care settings within Louth and Dublin. He has varying exposure to all aspects of Podiatric care with a particular focus on Musculoskeletal Podiatry. Working with patients of all ages and varying conditions. Utilising strength and condition programs, stretching, foot mobilisation, acupuncture and orthotic therapy to achieve the best patient outcomes.
He gained his core experience at Merlin Park Podiatry clinic and also spent time in Cork University Hospital, Crumlin Children’s Hospital and The Diabetes Day care centre at St. James Hospital. During this time, he gained a variety of exposure in all aspects of Podiatry including Diabetes, High risk wound care, Sports injuries, Podopediatrics, Rheumatology, Nail surgery and Routine care.
Matt loves his job and all aspects of Podiatry with a particular interest in Diabetes, Gait analysis and the management of Musculoskeletal conditions. He is passionate about delivering holistic patient care in a kind and friendly manner. Helping to enable patients to reach their individual goals.
