Qualification & Education

Niamh is a Chartered Physiotherapist with a BSc in Sports & Exercise sciences and a MSc in Physiotherapy from Northumbria University in the UK. Niamh completed post-graduate training in the NHS before moving home to Ireland. Since qualifying, Niamh has obtained qualifications in Pilates for Rehabilitation, Work-based Ergonomics and running biomechanics.

Niamh has extensive manual therapy skills including soft tissue massage, joint mobilisation and myofascial release. She takes a holistic approach with each individual in need of treatment. Niamh treats general musculoskeletal disorders and has a special interest in spinal conditions such as neck and low back pain.

Niamh has a particular interest in the use of exercise therapy in rehabilitation.
