Aislinn McCourt, Dietitian

Qualification & Education

Aislinn holds a BSc (Hons) in Dietetics from Ulster University and a PhD in Nutrition from University College Dublin.

During her training in the NHS Aislinn gained experience in both acute and community settings, and more recently locumed in a community hospital during Covid-19. Since then, Aislinn has gained over 3 years of private practice experience, managing a range of medical conditions including malnutrition, obesity, renal disease, diabetes, gastroenterological issues, heart disease, dementia, PCOS and more.

As an award winning research dietitian, she has conducted 2 human clinical trials, presented her research at national and international conferences, has a number of academic publications. Aislinn is also a Nutrition lecturer.

Aislinn is passionate about debunking nutrition myths and translating the latest nutritional research into dietary advice. Aislinn is particularly interested in helping clients manage obesity and weight loss, PCOS, menopause, IBS (FODMAP trained), diverticulitis, fertility and sports nutrition. Aislinn believes that each client deserves a personalised approach to ensure their dietary needs can be met in a way that is manageable for them.

Aislinn specialises in weight loss, digestive health and women’s health.
