

Paul holds a Bachelor of Medical Science with Honours in Podiatry from Queen’s University Belfast, a Master of Research from the University of Ulster, and a PhD from the University of Ulster, where his research investigated the effects of orthotics on the lower limb, with a specific focus on patellofemoral knee pain.
Paul has 30 years of experience in orthotic therapy, including 28 years in private practice in the UK and 2 years in Australia. His clinical focus is on treating mechanical injuries of the knee, hip, and lower back using custom orthotics combined with physical rehabilitation. He has held senior leadership roles internationally, including as Chief Clinical Officer for a global orthotics company, and has lectured on orthotic therapy around the world.
Paul has a particular interest in gait analysis and the role of custom orthotics in supporting long-term mobility, working with patients of all ages, from children to the elderly, including athletes and high-risk foot conditions.
