Find out how our team of experienced dietitians can help you.
Did you know that the most common nutritional deficiency is anaemia? Anaemia can occur from excessive blood loss due to serious injuries, menstruation, or hemorrhoids, but most commonly it is due to a lack of iron or other nutrients in the diet.
Anaemia means that your blood lacks healthy and normal sized red blood cells. Red blood cells are responsible for delivering oxygen around our bodies and getting rid of carbon dioxide, and this is why tiredness is a common symptom for those who suffer from anaemia.
Our virtual clinic makes it easy to connect with one of our specialist clinicians, while still ensuring personalised treatment and effective results, wherever you are.
Use our online booking tool to select an appointment at a time & date that suit you.
If it's your first time using our service, you'll need to register your account with us.
You'll receive an email with clear instructions showing you how to join your virtual appointment.
Your dietitian will join virtually to discuss your diet, lifestyle & health goals.
If you suspect that you are at risk of anaemia, you should speak with your GP to take blood tests to confirm the diagnosis. There are different types of anaemia so it is a good idea to test for them all.
Once you have a diagnosis or, if you are at risk of developing anaemia, booking an appointment with a Dietitian will be your next step.
A Dietitian can help you to optimise your diet and lifestyle to prevent the development of anaemia or manage your condition in order to reverse it.
