Spectrum Health

About Spectrum Health.

Your health, our focus.

About Us

Spectrum Health is an Irish owned healthcare company. We provide doctor, physiotherapy, podiatry, dietetics, health coaching and ergonomic services to people across Ireland and the UK, in person and online.

Our starting point is simple. Healthcare should fit around your life, not the other way around. You should be able to choose how you are seen, when you are seen and where you are seen. That is what we mean by delivering healthcare the way you want it.

Our story

We began in September 2007 as The Physio Company, founded by Anne McGoldrick, who was a Chartered Physiotherapist, who treated patients for 10 years prior to this. Anne still works in the business and that clinical experience still shapes everything she does. It is why the patient sitting in front of a clinician remains the focus of every decision we make, and why clinical excellence, evidence-based practice and ethics are the standards we hold every service to. From here The Physio Company grew into one of Ireland’s largest private Chartered Physiotherapy providers, with clinics across the country.

In 2012 we launched Spectrum Health to widen that model beyond physiotherapy. Podiatry, dietetics and ergonomics teams joined the group, so that patients could access more of what they needed without starting again with a new provider every time their needs changed.

Since then, we have widened it again. Adding doctors, health-coaching and digital consultations and out of hours appointments has turned Spectrum Health into a service people can use for most of their everyday health needs, at whatever point in life they need it.

Wherever you need to be seen

We have never asked patients to fit themselves into one setting. We go to where care is needed.

  • In our own clinics, when you want to be seen face to face
  • Online, when a video appointment gets you an answer the same day
  • In healthcare facilities, if on site is needed quickly and services are not available
  • In your home, where travelling to an appointment is difficult or distressing
  • Alongside other healthcare teams, in medical centres, primary care centres and diagnostic facilities

We pride ourselves on adapting. We shape our service around the environment we are working in and the person we are working with, rather than asking to change to suit us.

Who we partner with

Most people come to us directly. Many reach us through an organisation that already looks after them, and we work in partnership with:

  • Health insurers, giving members faster access to care and clear clinical outcomes
  • Life insurers, supporting people through rehabilitation and return to health
  • Nursing homes, bringing medical and allied health care to residents in their own home
  • GP practices and primary care centres, extending the clinical team available to their patients
  • Public and Private hospitals, working alongside their teams and taking onward referrals

Whichever route brings you to us, the care is the same, delivered by an excellent team of highly qualified healthcare professionals whose focus is your health.

Our Mission And Values

What we believe

Our mission is to improve our customers’ lives. Daily.

That sits on 3 values that shape how we work.

Innovate: We have never stopped changing how care is delivered. We came through 2007 and we came through the pandemic, and each time we rebuilt the service around what people actually needed rather than what was easiest to run.

Respect: For our patients, our colleagues, our clients and everyone we deal with. It is the foundation of the trust people place in us, and it is not negotiable.

Empower: Health is something you own. Our job is to give you the information, the treatment and the choices that let you take control of it.

We are also proud to be an Irish company. It is part of our history and it shapes how we work.

Every member of our clinical team knows that patients will only care about how much we know when they know how much we care.

What comes next

We think the future of healthcare rests on 3 things.

Convenience. Care that is available when you need it, without a wait that makes the problem worse. Digital appointments, out of hours access and same day answers are not extras. They are what good access looks like now.

Comfort. Being treated well matters as much as being treated correctly. That means clear communication, no jargon, no being passed around, and a clinician who has your history in front of them..

Community. Health is not a single appointment. It is a relationship that runs across years, and often across a family. We want to be the service people come back to, and the one they recommend..

The Future Is Total Care

Total Care at Spectrum Health means care that’s always-on, always-connected, and always about you. By providing access to care how you want—digitally or in person via our one-stop clinic services using smart, data-led care provided by our clinical experts.

Shaping Tomorrow’s Care With Purpose.

At Spectrum Health, our mission, vision, and values are more than statements—they are the foundation of how we serve our clients, support our teams, and shape the future of healthcare. As we continue to innovate and grow, we remain focused on delivering care that is personalised, data-driven, and always centred around the needs of those we serve. Together, we are building a healthier tomorrow.
