Spectrum Health – The Physio Experts

Everything you need to know about your appointment with Spectrum Physio Navan Road.

Your first session will involve a detailed assessment of your condition, hands-on treatment where appropriate, and then we’ll develop a tailored treatment plan. It’s all about understanding the issue and starting you on the path to recovery.

Your initial appointment and follow up appointments will last about 30 minutes and costs €70 per session.

No, you don’t generally need a GP referral to book in for physiotherapy — you can self-refer. However if your insurance requires it, you might want to check your policy or ask us and we can assist.

We work with all major insurers – Vhi, Laya and Irish Life. We recommend you check your own policy for its terms and conditions to see what cover you have.

We treat a wide range of musculoskeletal and sports-related issues: e.g. back & neck pain, ligament sprains, tendon/muscle problems, sports injuries, balance/falls issues, post-surgery rehabilitation, and much more.

Each location may offer slightly different specialist services.

That’s absolutely fine. Our chartered physiotherapists are experienced in post-operative rehabilitation and serious injury management. Please bring any operative reports, imaging (MRI/X-ray) where available and any GP/surgeon instructions to your first appointment.

Both — after initial assessment you’ll receive hands-on treatment (if appropriate) and we’ll build a home/clinic-exercise programme as part of your recovery. The aim is hands-on help plus long-term active management.

We aim to offer very short waiting times. Many patients can be seen within days (or sometimes same day) depending on availability and urgency.

If you’re in acute pain or have a sudden injury, call us and we’ll try to prioritise you.

Please bring your health insurance details, any referral or imaging you have, a list of current medications, and wear comfortable clothing so your physio can assess movement freely (e.g. shorts for knee, tee-shirt for shoulder). Arrive a few minutes early to complete any administrative paperwork.

Our patient’s health journeys.

Honest experiences from people who’ve trusted us to help them move better and feel stronger.

Attended with upper arm pain which ended up coming from my shoulder. My physiotherapist was very professional and knew exactly what I was describing and gave me the relevant exercises to deal with the problem. Would recommend this practice to anyone and also my physiotherapist, who will be practicing in the parmerstown branch. He was very competent

I attended Neel for torn ligaments. He gave me a thorough examination on my first visit and quickly established my injury and gave me lots of advice and exercises on how to aid my recovery. I had been 2 weeks in pain and unable to weight bare but just after a few days following his program I improved so much and after 4 weeks and 3 sessions I have pretty much recovered. I would highly recommend Neel at the clinic and am very grateful for his help. Bairbre

Fantastic experience. This lady knows her trade. My son had ACL surgery and Aline is currently working with him to get him ready for a return to sports. Her encouragement, care and support is so appreciated during his recovery for this injury. Can't thank you enough Aline.

I had physio with Aline for some running injuries that I'd recently developed. She was able to diagnose everything the root of the issue and the knock on effects. Within a few weeks of following the exercises prescribed, Im back out running further and faster without any weakness.

I was suffering from some upper-back/neck pain so I decided to nip it in the bud and arrange a physioteraphy appointment at Spectrum. Thankfully, it was nothing serious and I required just the 1 session. I was thoroughly examined and provided with some exercises that I could do at home to self-manage the pain (which is now gone!). I found Neel very helpful and he offered very good advice and he was also kind to follow up via email. Excellent service.
